I’m yet to become immersed in Andy Stott’s new album Late Loop, but on first listen it sounds like something I’m going to become mildly obsessed with. I do miss the heaving basslines of yore a little, but I’m confident these eight skeletal compositions have hidden depths that are going to require a little time and patience to fully appreciate.
